Chase
CHASE is dedicated to the support of families with children and young people who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday. For these children there is, at present, no hope of cure, but they and their families still need care and support over the course of the life ahead of them.
This support is provided in their own homes and communities and at our children's hospice just outside Guildford, Surrey. Our service is offered in whatever way it is needed, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at no cost to the families.
CHASE offers fun times and security, which helps strengthen families, and allows them to give their children the best time for living, however long that may be. We are currently supporting over 250 families from SW London, Surrey and Sussex, although there are still many families who are not receiving any such help or support. We receive nominal government funding, and must raise £4 million every year to continue supporting so many families.
